If you join this contest, you're trusting Willie99 to hold your funds and disburse the winnings, and nobody else.

100% of proceeds are disbursed to the winners. There is no vig, no processing fees, no management fees, no costs whatsoever (unless Yahoo decides to start charging a fee, but it's been free thus far)

Entry fee is $ 500, everyone has been paid promptly every year

If we have < 20 teams

Last unbeaten Team Wins $ 1,000
Second Place Wins $ 500
First Place wins the balance

Of course, once it gets down to 2 (or a few), remaining participants can split the pot any way they unanimously agree to (one objection from remaining participants, prize distributions will NOT be changed)



If we get to 20 participants, the payout will be

First place $ 7,500
Last unbeaten $ 1,000
2nd place $ 1,000 ($500 for < 20 entries)
3rd place $ 500 (no payout for < 20 entries)

If we have > 20 entries, the payouts will be the 20 team payout plus the additional funds allocated as follows

First place 75%
Last unbeaten 10%
2nd place 10%
3rd place 5%

I started sending invites to all the emails I can find. Yahoo does NOT carry over the participants and their emails from the prior year(s). they also do not archive the prior years, so I'm almost starting from scratch every year

If this thing gets to over 50 can you consider maybe having 1 double pick week late in the season like week 12 or 13?

The odds get kinda high for having to pick playoff games at the end with that many players and tHat kinda sucks
BTW the yahoo software allows this so it’s very simple to implement
